Ingredients

  • 1 oz Chai-infused vodka (see recipe below)
  • 1 oz Coffee liqueur Kahlúa
  • 1 oz Freshly brewed espresso cooled
  • ½ oz Simple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • Ice cubes
  • Chai spices for garnish optional

Instructions

For the Chai Infused Vodka

  • Add 1-2 chai tea bags to a bottle of vodka.
  • Allow it to infuse for at least 2-4 hours or overnight for a stronger chai flavor.
  • Remove the tea bags before using.

Make the Chai Espresso Martini

  • Prepare a shot of espresso and let it cool to room temperature.
  • Chill a martini glass in the freezer or by filling it with ice water.
  • In a cocktail shaker, add the chai-infused vodka, coffee liqueur, cooled espresso, and simple syrup.
  • Fill the shaker with ice cubes and shake vigorously for about 10-15 seconds.
  • Discard the ice from the chilled martini glass.
  • Use a strainer to pour the shaken mixture into the glass.
  • Garnish with a dash of chai spices and coffee beans.
