How to infuse vodka
To get all the steps and directions for these martini recipes, scroll to the bottom of the post for the recipe card.
To make these festive Halloween drinks, infusing vodka is key. This is basically where you’re adding the flavor of the candy to the vodka to make the candy-inspired martinis. Want to take things up a little further and put on a fun show? Try these Jello shots in a syringe!
While you’ll be changing out the type of candy used depending on the Halloween drink recipe that you pick, the basics to infuse vodka are the same.
Combine the candy with the vodka, and then store it in an airtight container. It needs to stay in that container for at least 3 hours. Strain and then use the vodka for the martini recipes.
Pro Tips
- Chop up the candy before adding it to the vodka. It just makes it easier to store that way.
- If you want to really spice up your night, you can actually eat the candy that’s been soaking in the vodka. Be warned – it’s STRONG.
- If you want to wait until after Halloween to make this martini, use the leftover candy from the kid’s trick-or-treating!
Variations
As you can probably guess, this recipe for making Halloween martinis can be used with any type of candy. Twizzlers, candy corn, skittles….you name it!
How to store
Since it takes a bit to infuse vodka, you can make it ahead of time and then store it for later. I would keep it stored in an airtight container in the fridge for the best results.
FAQs
It’s not a requirement to have one, but it does make it fun! Shaking up these Halloween martini recipes and serving them to your family and friends is all part of the process.
If you don’t have a martini shaker, just stir well and pour.
Since these cocktails are all centered around sweets and treats, put a few of them on the rim of the glass. Swirl a bit of chocolate, add a twizzler bite or candy corn to the side, or even just sprinkle on some sugar.
You can easily make the vodka portion of this recipe ahead of time, but when it comes to serving and pouring, this is best fresh.
Typically, no. But that doesn’t mean that you can’t. If you’re a fan of an iced martini, make it happen. It’s your drink – enjoy it!

I can’t believe you were that close to snow and went to find it! There is something charming about the first snow though we expect it in October I know from our conversation last week, you don’t! I love these photos! Gorgeous and very fun to read at the first of the spookiest day of the year! Boo. Have a great one.
I can’t believe you drove for two hours to see the first snow! Sounds like a fun day, except the almost kidney explosion part:)
Happy Halloween Kita! Spooky cocktails!
These look so decadent…but ideal for knocking back and ignoring the bell ringing for trick or treaters!!!
I’ll take a twizzler tini please because I love cranberry juice 🙂
I don’t have any kids, but I’m pretty positive that I NEED one of each of these martinis tonight!
Holy cow! Those are some halloween party drinks! Nicely done!
Whyyy don’t I have any of the ingredients for these?! A trip to the liquor store is in order! ASAP!
These all look like a perfect way to spend Halloween to me! And I’m not the biggest candy corn fan, but I’m very intrigued by the Candy Corn Cordials.
I would say if your not the biggest candy corn fan – don’t go for this one. I’m not either and tbh, what happens to candy corn as its hanging out in vodka didn’t help my ‘love’ of candy corn any 😉
The candy corn infused vodka sounds right up my alley. Love these, Kita!
What fabulous cocktails, Kita! They all are so unique and delicious looking….I don’t think I could decide which to try first. Sorry your weekend was a bit of a bust…so wishing you a wonderful Halloween!
Oooo, bring on that dark chocolate martini!
These would be so perfect for a Halloween party!
These spirits are incredible ! Thanks for thinking of us. We do enjoy Halloween, as well. And even more now, with these beverages!
I need to go to your house on Halloween! Love these cocktails!
Love these, so creative!! Twizzler tini… stop. I’m on candy overload right now and that STILL sounds amazing!
Why oh why did I NOT buy any Twizzlers? That Twizzler-tini sounds fabulous and the hubby loves him some Twizzlers. Dang it. Looks like I will be hitting up the post-Halloween sales tomorrow.
Love the colors! After all that … I doubt it’ll get me thru the nite, I’d pass out! 😀
Oh man. I’m having a second Halloween tonight and making these drinks.
Love these! I am going to link back to them in my upcoming Halloween Recipes post!!
