It has been a long hard week. One of those crazy work from early til late, get home and more work is still waiting to be done.

Wash, rinse, repeat.

You know those days. And as much as I would love to think that this avid food blogger can whip up a meal and a cocktail every single night–even on those busy ones–it just doesn’t happen.

Seagram’s Escapes came to the rescue a few nights this week. With fun refreshing drinks, it was a great option to have in the fridge without having to mix something up myself. I am really enjoying the variety of flavors. All of them are summer fun and make me think of warm, tropical anywhere-but-here kind of places.

Here are some real pics of me unwinding this week with Seagram’s. Nothing fancy. No food blog magic. Just the truth.

As for summer time, these are a great option to have in the fridge for when guests come by. A little less that the host/hostess has to do, a little more time spent on relaxing with friends. Hand them a fun color and let them sip and enjoy. We even threw an impromptu barbecue last weekend to have a few people over and enjoyed throwing these bad boys in the cooler and letting people go at it. Burgers and salads. Nothing fancy. But sometimes those nights around the bonfire with good company and great food are all you need after the work week.

Now for those of you who want something a little more creative, let’s try mixing a drink with these Seagram’s flavors. (All sorts of recipes can be found on the Seagram’s Escape site)

  1. Oooohhh…I think I need to come over for adult time! Although I might coo and babble at you, since that’s all I do any more
